2016 Accord creaking noise
For the last month or so the front of the car has had a creaking noise when turning and going over bumps. A week ago I put it in the garage and had my wife turn the wheels and I used a stethoscope to check the lower ball joints and tie rod ends with no luck. I jacked the car up but had no noise at that point when turning from side to side. Moved the wheel up and down and side to side, no play. I put another jack under each control arm, turned the wheel left and right, no noise. Put tires back on, lowed off the jack and creaking noise gone. Drove for a week and noise came back. Back in the garage today. Checked the stabilizers and repeated first set of checks, no noise. I'm thinking to try to replace the stabilizers since that is the easiest cheapest starting point. Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.
Noises are tough to diagnose over the web. Ericthecarguy video on youtube made a great video covering how to find suspension noises you should watch. Look for torn/rotted rubber ball joint boots especially on the lower ball joint or signs of rust/orange powder from metal on metal wear or loose suspension components.
