Default 2016 Accord rear passenger seat belt stuck

I recently had a knee replacemnent and decided to sit in the back seat. The seatbelt kept ratcheting tight so I decided to tie a knott so that it wouldn't do that. Well that was a bad idea. It kept ratcheting so I unlatched it but now it is all the way in and won't release.

The seatbelts on older Hondas had lifetime warranties, but I'm not familiar with the 2016. You may want to call your honda dealership to see if they have that warranty.

I may get away with just removing it so I can undo the knott. Any instructions for me?

No lifetime warranty. I ended up taking out the seat and removing the lower seatbelt bolt. It took a while but I was able to get it untangled. I couldn't get the back seat out fully as the instructions I found weren't correct. There wasn't a bolt on the drivers side but I got enough room to remove the bolt for the lower seat.
