Hi,

I like to keep some motor oil in the garage to be able to top it off between oil changes.

Can you tell me who makes the 0W-20 oil that Honda uses? Is it a synthetic??

A few comments:

• Honda branded 0W-20 is available as both a synthetic blend as well as a full synthetic.
• It is an odds on bet Honda branded motor oil is made by a number of different companies around the world.
• If you buy any name brand 0W-20 full synthetic oil, you will be buying an oil with is both compatible with Honda branded oil, and easily exceeds their minimum requirements.

Long story short, trying to buy the exact oil Honda has in their bottles comes under the heading of, "over thinking it." Buy which ever 0W-20 you want; they will literally all work well and keep your engine happy much longer than the rest of the car will last.
