Can someone please identify this engine noise in my 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L. Please listen with headphones so that the noise can be more easily discerned. It's been going on since I bought it and I'm not sure if it's normal. I saw another owner post a video with this same noise but never heard what the resolution was. Honda is saying it's normal but I don't agree. Thanks.

 

It is hard for me to hear the noise, plus noises are really tough to diagnose over the web. There is a good ericthecarguy youtube video talking about car noises in general. The type of sound and the rhythm (does it match engine rpm, tire speed, neither) can help narrow down potential root causes.

Maybe test drive another 2022 accord hybrid to see if you have the same noise. Also, take the service advisor on a drive in your car to make sure they can hear the noise.
