Long story short, my sister has 4 brand new 205-55-R16 she doesn't want but my 2003 Honda Accord EX takes 205-60-R16. Can I use the 55's? Thank you.

 

Yeah, but your speedometer & odometer will read a bit high. They're 10mm shorter on the radius, so your car will sit 10mm closer to the ground. For most people that won't matter. If yours is lowered much, you might have to worry about that.

You also have 10mm less "cushion" for potholes, so it might be just a bit easier to bend a rim.

I checked air pressure and the installer put 36 lbs in each! I let enough out to get to 32 front and 30 in back as called for on door panel. But these are 205-55-16 and not the manufacturers recommended 205-60-16. They feel fine, but should I make an adjustment for the 55's?

I have always run Michelins, but these 55's are Bridgestones

you should always adjust to what the door sticker says, not what the tire says...i'm betting the max press for those tires are around 44-51 psi. the recommended pressures are the best for ride and economy.
