Default 4 or 6 cylinder

thinking about buying an 07 ex-l with auto, but don't know wether to get a 4 or a 6
price difference is not an issue
how do the gas mileage numbers compare, i'm looking for real world, not magazine.
is the 4 slow and under powered?
basically the interior is the same.
the 6 has 17 inch tires does it handle better?
you can read alot of info on the net but i'm looking for owner opinions.
people with 4 do you regret?
people with 6 do you regret?
thanks i will process all info and get back with my answer

It boils down to what you want.......MPG or Muscle. I don't regret the 2.4l at all. Obviously larger tires will handle better even with more weight on the front end (V-6) . If a V-6 with a 5 or 6 speed stickhad been available when I bought mine the 6 would have won hands down. Am I gonna trade for an '08 model? Not likely, mine is paid for. Get the V-6, you'll never have toconsider "I wonder what the bigger engine is like?". I realize you may have your reasons but I would rather have a stick shift four than an auto V-6........which is why I have a stick shift 4!!!!!!!!!

I don't regret for one minute getting my V6. All the power and plus I average 27.5 MPG everywhere. (According to my computer atleast)

If you get the 6, get the 6 speed.

If you get the 4, get the 5 speed.

You probably won't be smoking anyone anytime soon if you get the 4 banger...it requires a bit of work. But the peppy four is eager and almost begs to be stomped and unleash its raw power. So you might get off the line a tad quicker.

The four kinda roars, while the 6 kinda purrs. Don't get me wrong, I would defin. trade up for a 6 speed 6 cylinder anyday, anytime

I agree with the above post in that Id also rather have a 5 speed 4 banger than an automatic 6.

Basically Id say get the biggest engine you can get WITH a 5 or 6 speed.
