Default 4 cylinder only choice

I apologize if this reeks of an old thread, but did not know what terminology to look for.

Next year I am certain I'll have to trade in my '07 Taurus, and I would like a V6 Accord, but all I could hopefully afford would be a Civic or a 4 cyl Accord.

Is the 4 cylinder Accord decent power for the size of the car? Or should I just get a Civic?

Thanks.

It really depends on the year for the make and model you are looking for. Do you have a particular year in mind for either of them???

The 9th generation (13-15) Accord LX 2.4L with the Sport option is a good buy with excellent drive by wire acceleration response and produces 189 hp with the duel exhaust included on the Sport. Test drive one, you won't be disappointed

The Sport option is now (2016) also being offered on the EX

I don't know what year I'd be looking for. Probably '10-through '13 if I am lucky.

I traded a 2011 (8th gen) in on my 2015, there are some differences between the two generations, however both of these cars were 4 cylinders and each performed well.

One of the features of the Sport option is the dual exhaust, which (in my opinion) gives the otherwise 4 cy vehicle a better look

Blimey. Our '03 Impala had 180 with its V6. It began having conniptions literally as soon as GM warranty expired (it was 2 years old when we got it), so that was the last GM I'd ever buy.

Currently we have the '07 Taurus SE with a mess of rust holes and also several mechanical issues. "He" has to last us until summer 2017 or (hopefully not) 2018. It has 155 with its V6 and 132,000 on the clock next month; if it lasts that long, fine. If not, it's being traded. I already have a dealer in mind I'll deal with.

An Accord four cyl. will be quicker than your old car, perhaps a lot quicker.

I believe it. If I am allowed to, I might add pictures of the T to my garage.
