So I was trying to install new Side-view mirrors (oem from Japan) that have the turn signals and fold-in feature in them. I cut the original mirror wiring harness at the connector to splice in to the Honda mirror from Japan, and when I put it all back together, the Climate Control module and the driver seat controls would not work. Also I noticed the outdside temp reading next to the odometer was not reading either. What the heck happened??

I saw somebody else had the same components go out when they tried to install an aftermarket radio (and with a plugnplay harness), but nobody reported a solution. Can-Bus terrifies me.
