Default 7th Gen Accords: which year is best?

I've generally started looking for a used 7th gen Accord (2003-07). Sedan. 4 cyl. Manual. Will look for something with under 40k miles. I know the differences would be small, but does anyone have info on whether any particular years (2003-07) had problems, and if so, what were the problems? For example, I understand a couple years the 6th gen accord had some problems with automatic transmissions.

I would say to avoid the 2003 as there is a cluster of them with the mysterious oil consumption problem. By percent it isn’t a large number but it sucks if you have one of the bad ones.

You might have to go to the newer-end of the generation anyway, in order to find under 40k miles.

I love my 03 EX V6 auto (74k miles), but I have heard stories of bad trannies. I guess they're not all perfect.
