Hey no worries......most things on a 3rd gen I can figure out by what is said...yes, sad I know too much about them....even sadder is there are some out there that know way more than me ....a car 23 years old, in many states you can get special plates, and I own three today , I need a new life.....

...15-73 of the manual, I think you downloaded it already, has the procedure for checking adjusting the throttle cable.

thanx for the heads up on the manual i read up on that procedure but once again it is dark and i cant see anything so ill have to do it a little later on tomorrow and after that what is the next step i should perform and again the front mount looks fine but as you were saying it has like a boot on it so im not sure if something inside the boot could be broken as for the rear mount still having trouble seeing i think i located it finally and if im correct it appears to be slightly smaller in size compared to the front mount. and it also has a boot on it so i cant really tell if it is broken

Well, for the front mount you can loosen the "top" nut.....grab the stud going through the bracket and see it the stud moves around. Just an idea.

Not too bad of a job.

The bracket that bolts to the trans has to come off, three bolts hold it on, a long extension and a swivel socket will be your friend. There are the two bolts holding the mount to the subframe that are not shown in this pic.

ok that sounds safer i was told to just loosen then jack the motor up and slide the mount out as for the torque like you im poor and very limited on tools

You might be able to manage. Space it tight under there, you might make a "test" run, meaning jack the car up (safety !) and be sure you can get to the bolts and one nut.

The long extension - three or four put together - alow you to get the ratchet to a place you can get some torque on it. So I understand not having alot of money laying around......harbor freight or some place like that might sell a 3 piece extension set for ~$10. From there a simple swivel might work....I have the swivel sockets that make things even easier. My bet, even if you spend $25~30 on the tools, that will be cheaper than paying some one and you get to keep the tools for the "next" time something comes along.
