Default 88 Accord power window control module

Long time ago the driver window on 88 Accord was diagnosed as having a bad power window control module. The window would go up sometimes, go down sometimes, erratic behavior. Just had the mech disable it because I didn't want to pay for one at the time. Now that I understand the beauty of salvage yards, and have done a few repairs on my own, want to go after this one. Plus, the passenger side front window starting to behave oddly also. A few questions:
1. Where is the power control mod located?
2. Are they hard to replace?
3. Any idea what going price for one at a salvage yard is? I will be calling of course, but just thought I would ask.
4. Does one module control all the windows?
5. Do the tools at NAPA that help remove the interior door panels really work? I have tried doing it without those before, and have ended up breaking off key pieces of the plastic that the panel snaps on to, and want to avoid. But I read another thread in this forum describing the process, and it didn't seem one of these tools was even needed.

thanks.

1. Inside the drivers door. Download the manual (spoonerturner) that can be found in the DIY section. Page 25-6 shows the location, page 25-35 has the testing procedures.
2. Never replaced one but have had the doors apart and it looks like two elec connectors and maybe two screws.
3.? no idea
4. Only one module for the car
5. I've only used a putty knife or flat head screw driver, take your time. There are several of those plastic "snaps" along the bottom and one or two going up the sides till about half way up.

Please download the manual and test the window module before just replacing, it could turn out to be just the switch.
