88 accord wont start

You will need to determine if the car is not starting due to lack of spark or lack of fuel.
For spark, a timing light will help verify that you are getting enough spark on each wire.
Is your accord fuel injected or does it have a carburetor?

Like I said before, you can test for spark by using a timing light. If you don't have a timing light, you can use a spark tester (cheap at auto parts store) to look for spark. The tegger site referenced at the top of the gen tech forum has nice writeups with pics to show you how to test for spark.
As for fuel, reading the fuel pressure will tell you if the fuel pump is properly pressurizing the fuel rail.
You can pick up a can of starting fluid, and spray it directly into the throttle body (throttle wide open) while you have someone try to start the car. If the car starts and runs while you spray, then you have a fuel delivery problem that you will have to diagnose further.
