89 Accord A20A1 problems

1) just above the oil filter. Jack the car up, use stands to spport the car, just above the oil filter, below the intake there is a one wire "switch/sensor".

2 & 3) Well should have thought about that more, sorry. The "silver" hose will slip out of a bracket and give a little more room. However that bracket will take a bit of skin if you are not careful....and that silver hose is the "preheater" hose so you can't really hurt it....then the lower rad hose should move to the pass side a little and allow room?

Then the next question will be the threaded "stick". If that bogger is in there tight, well I can help you make a "tool"....18 to 24 inch long (?) 1/2 diam black pipe from you favorite home improvement store, cut a slot in one end, big engough to fit over the "slot" of the "stick". A reverse slotted screwdriver, if you get what I mean. Then slip the pipe on the stick and use a wrench to "spin" the pipe.

How about we start with the throttle cable?

Default We replaced the engine from a a20a1 to a any 20a1 put a 88 trans onn

Okay from a cold start return the key and we hear this loud banging cranky f****** awful noise and we don't know where it's coming from if I was good transmission good we're just not sure where this noise is coming from can someone give us some direction
