Default 89 Accord Cruise Control

does anyone have any pics of the vacuum lines for the cruise control on the 89 DX? The module sits on the driver side by the power steering unit. Need pics of this unit on a working unit.

What exactly are you needing? I have an 87 and 89 LX. Still carb'd so should be close to the DX-really the only dif in the DX and LX are some of the options-power windows, antenna, bumper color, door handles painted, ect..........heck for that matter on the cruise...my LXi's might work. So again, let me know exactly what you need, I'll do what I can.

I think I have a vacuum problem on my Cruise Control. The Led comes on when I turn it on and when I set it, the green led comes on in the dash. But will not lock in on a speed. I had the engine replaced and I theink the mechanic didn't put the vacuum hoses back on the cruise unit. Was hoping if I could see a picture of a working unit I might be able to see something that would help. The unit on the left side next to the power sterring unit has a vacuum outlet that does not have a hose on it. I think that's the one I need to find out what goes there and where it terminates. I think the vacuum line that goes to the unit when you hit the set button is the one I need to locate.

If you open the common DIY thread on top of the gen tech help forum, there is a link for online shop manuals. The honda-tech link has an 86-89 manual that should show you the proper routing of the vacuum hoses.

There is usually a stick under the hood showing the routing of the vacuum hoses. On my 95, the hoses had numbers printed on them corresponding to the labels on that sticker, so you knew what hose you were working with.
