Alright I got tranny undbinded finally and engine almost started. My bro in law confessed to getting in the way and unbolting a few things screwing up distributor timming sparkplug wires in the wrong spots and he unbolted one side of steering rack causing bind. I used a pry bar the holes were a quarter inch forward got em lined up while tranny bolts were loose and tightend up steering rack and tranny turned key to spit and sputters sound like a honda that wants to start. Today I will drain old gas fill up with premium and a couple of octane boosts and gas line cleaners should fire right up. If so I still got it, I haven't wrenched on cars since my pops passed away 7 17 07 so kind of a personal quest and accomplishment.

Good to hear the update....the motor is now spinning over with the starter, NICE! And then to add that there are "sounds of life", even better.

Check the order of the wires....1-3-4-2. There should be a mark on the dist cap "noting" #1 (an "A" or something ?). Just to be sure, spin the motor so #1 is at TDC and check the dist rotor position.....hard to do (added force) but some have installed the dist with the shaft 180 out.

Better update car is running like a honda should now, except IACV. I tried to adjust it but to no evail, it needs a new one but I topped off tranny and oil, with all the new urethane bushings in the front suspension ball joints and all it feels good enough to get up to tire and alignment shop. Thanks for the help, and what you're doing for the country much respect!
