Default 91 accord automatic seat belt

The passenger side automatic seat belt on my 91 accord has ceased to operate. Fortunately it stopped in the full aft postion so the belt can still be used.
I checked the fuse and its fine.

What is the next logical thing to do / check? Is this about the normal life of that motor?

Thanks

Seat Belt Limited Warranty - Seat belts that fail to function properly are covered for the useful life of the vehicle

The above is a cut and paste from a Honda Press Release. You may also be able to find this information in your owner's manual.

I had a problem with one of my lap belts not retracting and the dealership replaced it free of charge.

Good luck!

Mine is now intermittent...works now and then. I called the dealership Friday and they said they would repair it for no charge. Truly amazing! A 16 year old car and they will fix something for free.

Gotta love these Honda cars!!

Update:

I went to the dealership and they determined the track itself is toast. They ordered one and will install it for me tomorrow...all at no charge!

This is almost too good to believe. Had it not been for this site, I would not have known about the warranty situation.
