Smile 91 accord electrical issues

hey i recently bought a 91 hond accord and everything works fine except my power windows, power seatbelts and my dash(speedodmeter/odometer) could the instrument panel be the problem. i checked all my fuses but nothin works...well my power window relay was bad that might fix the windows, but does that control the seatbelts and dash? im not real good with electrical issues but any help would do.

If the relay is bad, replace.

Check for codes, a faulty vss can cause the speedo and odo not to work. Then there could be a short between the ocb and the speedo unit.

If the seat belts are not working, try taking it to the dealer. Some have been able to get the dealer to fix them for free under warranty.

Seatbelts are a lifetime warranty thing (at least until ~2006-then they went to 10 years or something like that)...depending on the issue.

In 1991 when the car was new, it had a "lifetime" warranty on the motorized seatbelts. Doesn't matter how many people own the car, all that matters is that it was never wrecked, doesn't have a "salvage" title.

Of course, if they can claim that you took the seatbelts apart & broke them, thats different.

Still, it's worth a phone call to the dealer.
