Exclamation 91 Accord Gauge Cluster Problem

Hello,

I have just newly installed a new speedo about a month ago(just the speedo not the whole cluster) and when i did it i forgot to put in a few screws.

Yesterday i was at a friends house and he started working on his car. I said well hell since your doing that i might is well put those screws back in. I pulled the cluster and put in the screws and also tightened all the other screws.

Now the Fuel gauge pegs out at full and the temp gauge pegs out at H

I loosened the screws back up and even took out the gauge and cleaned it. I looks like the places where the screws go is have a small crack down the tube but i dont think it made that much of a difference. I have reset the ECU by pulling the neg bat cable off and it still dosent work.

What going on?

Something is grounding the wire(s)....one of the "tests" for both the fuel and temp gauge is to gound the wire (at the sender/sensor) and see if the gauge pegs.
