Default 91 accord ignition cylinder replacement

How much trouble is it to change the ignition cylinder on a 91 accord LX, auto transmission car? What are the specific steps?

Mine is starting to hang up when attempting to turn the key towards start position.

Thanks in advance for assistance

Nice vote of confidence there, but ... um ... I've never had to do that.

Are you talking about the key hanging up & not able to turn? That's the lock cylinder.

Or are you talking about electrical flakyness? That's the electrical part of the ignition switch.

This is better in General Tech, so I'll move it.

A worn out key may cause this problem. Do you have a spare key that has less wear on it that you can try?

You might want to find a locksmith. If you get a lock cylinder from a dealer, it'll have a new key then you have different key for doors & ignition. A locksmith might be able to fix yours and/or re-key a new one to use your same key.
