91 Accord won't start
Hey all! I'm having trouble with my 91 accord lx auto. I went to start it this morning and it won't even crank. I don't hear any clicking or anything unusual, I checked to see if the battery terminals are loose, but their tight as can be with no corrosion. The lights on the dash are working and no check engine light is present, so I am puzzled on how to proceed. If anyone could offer any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it. If you need more info just let me know.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Just a quick update, I tapped the starter with a wrench and it fired right up. So would it be right to replace the starter since that seems to be what is worn out? Or are there other things to check?
Yes, when tapping the starter brings it to life, the starter solenoid is worn out. Solenoid contacts are repairable in this model. See following link if you're interested. Most folks simply replace the entire starter.
