91 EX Coupe Ignition Problems
I have a 91 EX Coupe, 5-sp manual with 265,000 on the clock.
Initially, the problem surfaced as when the engine would warm up, it would die. It was determined that the distributor was bad, because there was no spark. When a reman distributor didn't fix the problem, it was returned for another reman distributor, but now it won't start AT ALL. There is spark at the wires, but no ignition.
What am I missing?

Fuel, Spark, Timing.
If you're getting spark at the plugs, you can spray some carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking to see if the engine runs briefly.
also there is a test port bolt on the fuel filter you can loosen and turn on the key to see if the fuel pump is putting out pressure. Turn the key to 'on' not 'crank'.Have rags handy and be ready to yell at your helper to "SHUT IT OFF".
Use a long screwdriver as a stethoscope to listen for the fuel injectors clicking when the engine is cranked over.
