91 honda accord bake lights

Default 91 honda accord bake lights

I recently bought a 91 honda accord and the brake lights where cut.. anyone knows how to wire them back together

they cut the wires connecting the bulb to the socket

That doesn't make sense. OEM bulbs just plug into the socket. Is this a non OEM setup?

Did they cut off the wires right at the electrical connector? Can you take a picture of the damage?

yea they cut the wires at the electrical connector.. ill take pictures also

I guess you'll want to splice the wires back together, matching colors.

Default my 91 honda accord brake lights will not turn

when I press my foot on the pedal my brake lights wont turn on and also my brake lamp light is on

Burned-out bulbs?
Blown fuses?
What have you already checked (to rule out)?

I checked the fuse its good. and the bulb is good to

Which brake light on the dash is on? The one by the car icon or the "big" brake light.

Also, could be be spelling, you say "the bulb is good". Have you replaced the bulb(s), if you have a volt meter or test light, can you test the voltage at any of the socket(s) at the rear....what does it tell you.
