I combined all three of your threads, because they are related. Creating a new thread for the same problem hides information about your previous work on the car.

First off, how did you repair the wiring? Do you have a multimeter?

Your light problem is part of your original thread.

Please use that thread so the other members know what you have done and we will not repeat questions.

i read the book and it says there should be a wire running from the u/h fuse box to the brake light switch...but I do not see the wire could that be the problem

Been working on my brake lights for a min now..So far I changed the bulbs, the fuse, brake light switch n yet it does not work....I was told it could be a bad ground thats causing them not to work is that true if so where can i find the ground wire for the brake lights

None of the rear brake lights work? Is this an auto, if so does the car shift out of park when you press the brake.

I don't have the shop manual for this year so I can't give you the location of the ground but in the Chilton manual I have it lists it as G701. You might be able to google that and find the exact laction.....memory, guess-it is on the rear shelf (by the rear speakers) on the pass side-but don't trust my memory..it is bad.

EDIT: I see now there is another thread on this...Mod's can you merge these or delete this one, looks like more info in the other.
