Default '92 5 speed accord. Clutch starting to have issues.

My clutch is having some difficulty in the lower gears. Especially going up hills.
250,000 miles on it. Not sure if or when the clutch was ever replaced.
What am I looking at in terms of getting it fixed?

The pressure plate and clutch friction material would need to be replaced. The hard part about the repair is having to remove the manual transmission from the car.

Ericthecarguy had a video for sale on his website that covers replacing the clutch that covers the 90s accords. It is a very detailed step by step procedure and would be useful if you plan a DIY repair.

What way is the clutch "having some difficulty"? PA's answer is for the clutch slipping (RPM suddenly increasing without the car speeding up). To be fair, that IS the most common thing.

If it's something else, please describe what it's doing.

Yes it's slipping on shift and accelerating. RPMs go way up if I keep my foot on the pedal.
I have to back of on it until it finally shifts into gear, but it's just barely making it. Really
slow and weak power. On freeway it's fine once I get up to 60.

So parts wise, you would buy the pressure plate and the clutch plate. When I last replaced a clutch, long time ago, I also replaced the throw-out bearing (not expensive) which is right there as part of the functioning clutch mechanism.

I've a '92 manual that's also a keeper. Luck.

Actually, the wording suggests that you might believe you have time to address this issue.
But slipping clutch is a very near term repair need; quite soon / anytime the clutch plate will be totally friction gone and
you'll be stuck in traffic on a bridge somewhere unable to move when traffic starts moving. Suggest: park the car until it's repaired.

I agree 100% with this ^^. And at 250K miles, it's probably due for replacement.
