Default 92 Accord LX Not Heat

Hi,

I just bought a 92 Accord LX and when I first drove it there was plenty of heat. Yesterday, I drove it for quite a while and noticed that the fan was blowing cold. The engine got up to temp but the heat did not come from the vents. I fiddled with the controls and nothing.

I'll be checking it out in more detail tonight, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

quick and easy, check your coolant levels... if it's not full your heater core won't get coolant and heat up... also, watch your gauges really closely to ensure your engine isn't overheating.... if your thermostat isn't opening up your engine will overheat and you won't get any warm air because you'll have no coolant flow to the heater core... If it starts to overheat SHUT THE CAR OFF!! A thermostat is about $5.00... an engine is about $3000.00 installed...

Thanks for the reply. I checked coolant and it is green and topped up. I checked the heat slider and it appears to have come disconnected under the dash as the level doesn't move the parts behind it. I know have to figure out why it came apart and how to repair.
