92 accord top speed

92 accord top speed

I have a 92 accord lx 2.2 with a manual trans.. I was wondering what the top speed would be.

I'm not going to support driving at high speeds since it's dangerous and illegal, but I do it myself so...

Probably between 115-130 mph, depending if there's a fuel cutoff or rev limiter. My 95 topped out at 115 with an AT and I've gotten my 99 to 120 with a MT.

my carb 91 top speed has been 220km/h that's like 137.5 mph

the rev limiter kicks in at 120-125 mph on my 91

My 93 EX 5 speed would peg the needle down a bit past 130mph (as high as the speedo went), so I know it would do 130 MPH+, but it didn't have much past that, and it took a while to get there. I'd guess 135ish top end.

Sister had a 93 LX 5 speed and her's had a limiter on it that shut it down at about 112.

Man, was I ever stupid back in the day...........
