92 accord tps?
ok so 2 years ago I replaced my TPS on my 92 accord but that didnt fix the issue with the ECU flagging the TPS (7 rapid flashes), so now I need emissions and I've failed (1.29 CO count while going 25MPH with a limit of 1... however what I see as odd was that my CO count for idle had a limit of 1.2, but my readings only said 0.02) so I'm told that it's due to my TPS not getting a full signal, but I've checked my main wiring harness and with signal degrigation test, all 3 wires read only a 0.001% loss... so I decided to try slightly bending the terminals on the TPS, but that still didnt work... so my next guess is the part of the wiring harness that goes from under the hood to the ECU, but I currently dont have access to a voltimeter and was wondering if anyone knows what the wires are for the TPS on the ECU plug...or any other suggestions
Have you been through the diagnostic flowchart in the Honda shop manual? This first checks each wire for continuity.
If all wires are good, next check is for appropriate response form TPS; 0.5v at closed throttle and 4.5v at full throttle. If this fails the TPS is bad and must be replaced.
If TPS is OK, you substitute a know good ECU and check to see if symptoms go away.
If you've done the checks and you're convinced the TPS and wiring are good, suggest you look for a used ECU (< $50). I used car-part.com to check for your ECU. I assumed an auto, DX or LX.
Suggest adding your Accord trim/year to your signature.
good luck

I dont have access to the voltmeter/multimeter for about another week, and ya I've gone years but was hoping someone would know a pic diagram that would reference the pins for the tps... and no I accidently left my haynes manual down in tx over a year ago...lol... but I thank you for the advice and site info, I'm gonna check it out now
