Exclamation 92 accord weird sounds and smell

when i am driving and come to a stop at a light or etc i hear a kind of whistling sound from the engine area its not high pitched its like (a whool kinda sound dont know how to describe it . also when ac is on car drives alot rougher than if its not on and shifts are alot harsher and prolonged than normal . i also smell like a burning smell when ac is on and sitting in drive thru or what not and under full acceleration have a very distinct smell that emits kinda sulfurish but kinda gassy at the same time and when driving with no air on and no radio during acceleration i hear what sounds like a suction type problem or vacum leak or something any input for any of these would be greatly appreciated

I hope you will understand, sounds and smells are kind of hard to figure out over the internet.

With that said, all I have right now is this.

Be sure the tune up stuff - cap, rotor, plugs, inspect wires, ect - is up to date.

How old are the belts? Are they set to the proper tension?

Yes, distributor rotor and cap.

There is more to come if all of this checks out. Be sure to give the "stuff" under the hood a good look over - vac lines not connected, wires that go to nothing, ect.
