Yea, I've been chasing that thing for 1 1/2 years now on the 89 LX. Finally in the early summer of this year I was actually around when it was happening (all the other times I was at work, of course it would be fine by the time I got home) so I was able to narrow it down to the fuel pump. Tested all of the ign stuff while it was heppening so I then saw the fuel level in the carb drop to nothing and of course the car stopped....guess what, I started it back up and the issue hasn't returned since but I have the light in there for the next time.
