What's up forums, I'm new to the site and I have a 92 Accord LX with 97k. I've had this car for about 4 months and slowly I have been noticing problems. I know my motor mounts are shot and one of my exhaust mounts broke of from rust and made a quarter size hole in it. It's right after the down pipe and befor the cat converter also tranny seems to be slipping i was told to change my fluid and replace filter. I have been wanting to make some miner upgrades but not shore were I should start. If any one has some incite it would be most helpful

 

Check each motor mount to see which ones are causing movement. Try grabbing the valve cover to push/pull on the engine and see which mounts have excess movement.

Do a drain and refill on the transmission. Do not have the transmission flushed. There is no filter to change. Use the ATF recommended in your honda owner's manual. Honda automatic transmissions are picky about their transmission fluid.
