Default 93 accord cigarette lighter

I have a 93 honda accord. The cigarette lighter doesnt work. We checked behind it and it looks good there. I was going to check the fuse, but when I opened the fuse box, there wasnt one labled for the lighter. I checked in my Haynes manual and all it said was "cigarette ligher relay - in left end of dashboard below pgm-fi relay" I have NO idea what that means. can someone help me out here.

chk fuses first..

underhood box fuse # 22 ,,15 amp
under dash box fuse # 11,, 10 amps
if both fuses are good, at cig liter connector 2 wires white/blue chk for power there , should have power and blck wire should have ground there,, if you get both you got a bad cig liter assembly
if you get no power and fuses are ok,, could be a bad relay or broken wiring \\chk this and let us know
if you get no ground at black wire could be a broken wire or poor ground

if your fuses are all good, you need to open the plastic case attached to the back of the lighter, and resolder the 'pop off' connection.

The lighter jack in my 91 Mustang does not work but I know why: there is either a penny or a dime wedged inside of it. I've never felt the need to dislodge it though so it remains. One of my idiot buddies tried to dislodge it with a pair of needle-nose pliers one time. He didn't think todisconnect the battery and I didn't either. He got shocked pretty hard [sm=laughat.gif]
Have you gotten a flashlight out and made sure it is clear of debris on the inside? Just a suggestion.
