'93 Accord with F22 - Not running
5hi im new to this forum an new to the honda wrld but i bought a 1993 honda accord with the f22a motor in it. the original motor that was in it was blown an the guy i got it frm bought a used motor an put it in. he sold me the car two weeks later an i found out the motor thats in the car came frm my brother in law. but when the guy i bought the car frm replaced the motor he had it running for 10 mins and it died. he told me when i bought it that the fuel pump was bad. so my brother in law an i replaced it. still wouldnt start. we then replaced the distributor, cap an rotor, starter coil, main ignition relays, and still no spark.next thing is to checc the timing. we have racked our minds around this car an still cant figure it out. just wondering if theres anything we r missing that wood keep it from firing.... sry that the title says 94 its actually a 93

Double check the grounds...Are you getting voltage to the blk/yel wire at the dist? Also when you turn the key to pos II/on- does the cel come on and fuel pump prime for about 2~3 sec and then both stop/turn off?

We r getting power to the dist. An the fuel pump is kickin on. But it is still not firing. We've now changed the ecu because whoever sold it to the guy I got it from tried to set it up for turbo by running wires into the ecu for a air/fuel gauge and didn't know what he was doing. So we changed that an almost all the relays, we removed all the wire that were under the dash that were not stock an still nothing. Next thing we gonna check is the fuel pump again an see if we r getting pressure to the fuel rail an injectors.

You really need to determine if then not start is due to lack of spark or lack of fuel. If you have a timing light, that is a quick test for spark/no spark. If the light flashes, it is safe to assume you have adequate spark.
Also check that the ground is installed on the thermostat housing. See attached pic. The hose should be labeled lower radiator hose, I think.
