This part plugs into the end of the automatic trans, near the right side wheel well. What is it called?

That is either the main shaft speed sensor or the counter shaft speed sensor. One is in the front and the other is in the rear.

Thank you!
Since my speedometer works and this sensor has not been operational from the time a critter chewed off the wires, I guess the Accord uses more than one method of calculating the speed being driven.
