I've had a vibration around 2K rpm in my 94EX that was also not fixed by replacement mounts (front and rear replaced and both were damaged). I suspect that CV axles may be the culprit but admit if feels more like motor mounts. I have not swapped axles to test my theory.
Any recent changes in CV axles?
