'93 questions
Just got the car about a week ago and ive got a few questions.
The transmission (auto) shifts like someone is driving a stick badly. it rev's really high, then finally shifts. it also seems like there are dead spots in the throttle, where if I press on the gas and leave it pressed to certain points i receive little if any acceleration. Any of that normal?
also when shifted into D4 the light on the dash does no light up, however shifting into D3 or any other gear rewards me with a light around the logo on my dash. thoughts?
if you could put it into layman's terms that would be apperciated.
thanks

Hint, read the 1st time poster instructions. More responses.
Adjust trans throttle link cable. This may cause bad shifts. A Haynes or Honda shop manual is necessary to perform the adjustment. Basically throttle plate and trans throttle lever arm (end of cable) should begin to move simultaneously. Adjust slack until this is achieved.
D4 light is likely burnt out, a not uncommon occurence. No harm, but to repair requires removing the instrument panel to access.
good luck
