Default 94 accord almost completly dead, help please.

Ok, today the car was driving for about 5 minutes, then the tach went all crazy, and died, then all lights went out, had to put the car in neutral to let it roll into a lot. After it sat for about 30 minutes, it started back up, immediately drove it home, and shut off. Came back a few hours later, started it up, and the tach move up and down slightly, then I turned it off, and now it wont turn on at all, has no dashlights, starter doesn't even try to turn, no fuel pump turning on, tried the front lights, nope, the lights on the side of the door work though but they are really dim. I did have the battery checked at autozone, and it said it was fine... so what could it be?

Well nevermind. Apparently the battery is bad because I went and got my optima out of my RX-7, and it started right up.. weird. Going to get a replacement battery tomorrow since it still under warranty by Autozone. Sorry for the wasted thread =(

Get your alternator checked. It could be a faulty alternator. Running with a faulty alternator can also subsequently damage the battery where it won't properly hold a charge.
