Default 94 Accord Breaks

Hello

I have a 94 Accord EX that looks great and for the most part runs great.

It has 107,000 miles and I have a break question

My breaks were feeling soft so I decided it was time to get them look at and I was right the front pads needed to be replaced, now the day I brought my car in to have the breaks done, that morning the ABS ( amber color ) light was coming on at start up and would not turn off, so I thought it was the best thing that I was going to get the breaks done.

After the breaks were finished they were great, but the light still did not turn off, and latest light that is coming on is my breaklight indicator is staying on but the light is working perfectly.

Now, this morning coming to work my ABS light did not stay on and the breaklight indicator was on and I was coming to a slow stop It felt like my anti-locks kicked in very quickly ( clicking sound ) and it felt like to breaks slipped a little, but not much at all and I did come to a stop without any issues.

I'm wondering if these break light indicators ABS, Breaklight Indicator is telling me something ( do I have an computer issues or are the breaks bad or do I have a short in my system ) I say that because I have always felt there was an electrical issue with the car, my power locks worked just once and then they stopped.

Any help would be great!

The soft pedal sounds like air in the system, and they probably bled the brakes to fix that. Your ABS system also has to be bled - did they do that?

Read the ABS error code(s)...
Jumper the SCS connector just like you're reading ECU error codes. But the ABS lamp will flash it's code instead (or along with) the CEL.

Put in jumper.
Turn key 'ON'.
1 flash & 1 pause - this isn't the code yet.
Count the short flashes for the first digit of the code.
Medium pause.
Count the short flashes for the second digit of the code.
Long pause.
Count the short flashed for the 1st digit of the next error code.
Medium pause.
Short flashes for 2nd digit of code.
If the same code repeats, you're done.

Code list:
1 - ABS pump motor over-run
1 2 ABS pump motor
1 3 high pressure leakage
1 4 pressure switch
1 8 high pressure system
2 1 parking brake
3 1 pulser RF
3 2 pulser LF
3 4 pulser RR
3 8 pulser LR
3 12 different diameter tires
4 1 wheel sensor RF
4 2 wheel sensor LF
4 4 wheel sensor RR
4 8 wheel sensor LR
5 - rear wheel lock - R/L
5 4 rear wheel lock - R
5 8 rear wheel lock - L
6 - fail-safe relay - F/R
6 1 fail-safe relay - F
6 4 fail-safe relay - R
7 1 solenoid - RF
7 2 solenoid - LF
7 4 solenoid - R
8 1 ABS function
8 2 CPU comparison
8 4 IC self-check

Just for grins, for anyone else reading this thread, beginning in about 1998(?) Honda used a different ABS system which has a different set of error codes.

ps... Welcome to the forum!

check your float in resivoir and replace if it is saturated in brake fluid. This is the most common reason for brake light coming on if the system is not leaking and working properly...

Second problem is mot likely a sensor on a wheel that needs to be replaced or cleaned
