Hey guys, I was driving my 94 accord in the rain yesterday and it cut off on me in the middle of the road. The engine lite came on but then cut off when i took out the key and tried to start the car again. After I had it towed to my mechanic he told me that the computer was wet and i might need to change it.
Has anybody had this problem and what did you do to fix it.

 

I find that hard to believe "the computer was wet".
Is the passenger side floor carpet wet?
I would first check out the igntion system, such as old plug wires shorting, or dist cap cracked.
