94 accord d4 light code help
driving today and d4 light starts blinking
after parking needed a jump to start (maybe weak batt)
also trans sipping in OD/D4 gear from stop
doesnt slip when in 1 gear
recently hit a pothole and tore the axle out and broke ball joint(last week has been fixed)
no problems until today
pulled codes using paperlip
codes:
1-Lock-up solenoid 'A' circuit open or shorted.
8-Shift Solenoid 'B' circuit open or shorted.
13-Main shaft speed pulse generator open or shorted.
14-Linear (line pressure control) solenoid open or shorted.
not sure what this means?
i read that codes 13/14 means that the ecu is bad and that u can reset them by pulling a fuse/batt
gonna change trans fluid and see what happens

First, suggest resetting TCU by pulling BackUp fuse in underhood fuse box for 20 secs. See what codes return.
Suggest checking wiring and connectors to trans for damage.
These codes are all electrical faults and could be component (solenoid, pulse generator), connectors, wiring, or TCU defects causing the code.

changed oil
changed trans fluid
pulled fuse
the bad
oil filter was wrong size
trans plug looked like a tennis ball "O" bcoz of all the metal shavings
fluid was brown not much red at all
the good
car runs silent now (i actually thought the car cut off at stoplight)
car shifts smooth under 35mph (just trying to break in new fluid)
no D4 light
stereo fuse was 20A not 15A explains battery/starting issue
sadly it looks like the trans fluid might have been neglected. there was a large amount of metal and the radiator is honda not denso aftermarket or even duralast! could be original 20 yr old radiator LOL seriously im sure the trans fluid was changed at lease once under warranty
