Alirght Im in kinda a sticky situation...I need my car up in running by tomorrow, but for some reason to which I am oblivious to, it decided to crap out on me today.
First off LASTNIGHTmy radio was going off and on when I had the a/c running and other electrical devices( windows, ect) SO I looked under the hood to check the alternator and see if the belt had come off or broken, but it was fully intact. SO next I hooked my car up to my mom's impala to charge it and well I was getting powerto the car, enough to have my windows, stereo, and a/c all working at the same time top notch, however I still couldnot get the car toturn over at ALL. So this morning I removed the battery and took it too'reilly's to getmy battery checked out( basically its a POS) Couldnt charge get a new one. SO I get anew 50dollar battery bring ithome put it in and now I have NOTHING, except for my emergecy flashers. No lights, No starter click, nata damn thing!Now Ive ruled out the Alternator, since the battery would still power the car on. Ive replaced BOTH the positive and negative terminals and still NOTHING. Ive checked the ground wire, fine, and I am outta options someone please enlighten me Idont care how long it takes to fix it as long as its running by tomorrow!

 

test the battery to make sure that it's good, ensure that your contacts are clean and corrosion free and that the wires going to your contacts are clean as well. Check the lead wire to your starter and ensure that your ground wire is bolted to the frame and grounded properly.... do you have an aftermarket alarm system on the car?

 

No I dont Ive checked all the grounds too

It could be a no solenoid voltage to starter or faulty starter. Check for voltage to the starter when keyswitch is turned to Start (small blk/wht wire). This wire causes the solenoid (big relay) to close and starter to engage. If you don't have power to the starter, the keyswitch, fuse (No 9 in under dash fuse box), or AT gear position switch is open interrupting the circuit. A wiring diagram from shop manual would be very helpful to understand this problem.

maybe you could use a test light or meter, then check a schematic to come up with a correct and accurate diagnose of the problem; This link is to a 96 Accord but should help you.

chk the main fuses, also what i have seen a few times is that on a new battery sometimes they have plastic caps around the battery posts,, i have seen people install batteries and forget to remove those caps ,, you might want to make sure that there are no plastic caps on the posts ,,

 

Yea check the main batt fuses under the hood in the fuse box 9outta 10 sez its that main battery fuse
