have a 94 accord ex, yesterday i notice that my trip and odometer stopped working when i reset it back to 0000, my speedometer works so i know it's not my speed sensor. i tried the trick of letting the **** snap back when i push when you release but still doesn't work. does anyone have any suggestion on how i can fix this. since i'm fairly new at this can you give me a detail explanation please. Just wondering because i need my car smog this month to register my car, would they check if the odometer is working? Thanks in advance.

I don't have money to get it fix this month that's why i'm trying to fix it myself, my car needs to be smog and register by feb. first week.

You should find out if they inspect the odometer to see if it works.

You either have a faulty cluster or speedometer.
