94 accord wont start

tried to start the car ... connected pins and turned ignition switch to II check engine light came on and stayed on.... no flashing at all

replaced main relay with no results

would ecu problems cause a no start ?

Thanks for this link, redbull-1. I'm glad i'm watching this thread.....you guys must have 'early 90s no-start' type threads on about a constant basis around here.

ok I checked the connections on the map and tcs got 5 v cleaned the g101 and it still wont start any other suggestions would be greatly apprieciated

also I had a good friend of mine come over with his 94 accord and started swapping parts..... his car runs fine. switched out the coil, map sensor and the tps and it still wont start

Not sure if this has been asked yet or not....are the cap and rotor in good condition?

Are you getting spark on all four cyl's?

Can you verify the timing? Wondering if the belt has slipped and now out of time.

ok so after all that I have done to the car I went today and got another ECU and put it in the car. Same results .... no start.... had a friend come over for another set of eyes on it and we changed the plugs and the damn car fired right up ...... obviously all the carb cleaner that I have bean spraying in the throttle body had fowled all of them out. so I picked up more plugs and wires for the car and it lives again.... I had checked the plugs at the first of all this and they were firing fine. I would like to thank everyone on this forum for helping with this problem.

Back on the raod that is a good thing. "Thank You!" for the follow up.

Hope you have many miles of happy motoring in the Honda
