95 4 Cylinder Motor Question
Hi, 95 Accord 4 cylinder with the top half rebuilt. For some reason when R.P.M is between around twelve thousand to two thousand R.P.M the motor does not want to go. It's like something is blocking something, it does not matter the grade of pavement it does not want to go, the motor just moves so slowly up the R.P.M unless it's almost floored. When it reaches two thousand R.P.M, figuratively speaking make sure your seat belt is on cause here we go.
Was thinking after 240,000 miles maybe something in the throttle body is clogged? Someone in a previous post mentioned a cable adjustment for the transmission to the throttle body but the motor does not want to move but the two are connected. Long story short, have not idea!
Any and all advice appreciated. Thank you.

Hesitation at 1500-2000 rpm is usually caused by blocked EGR ports. Some ports get none, and others too much EG causing a lean stumble and hesitation.
Fix is to remove EGR manifold and clean ports into manifold.
good luck
