I have a 95 ex accord w/5spd, when warmed up and driving at low rpm's in 2nd 3rd and 4th the car jerks like im in 4th or 5th gear but only going 20 mph. while doing 50,60,0r 70 mph it runs smooth. i changed plugs, wires, dist, rotory btn, runs really smooth if ya want to go 70-130, lol. any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would clean the EGR ports. It is a simple DIY.

In the common DIY thread on top of the gen tech help forum, there is a link under the 5th gen accords for egr port cleaning.

Also, search the web for ericthecarguy egr ports. It is an excellent YouTube video on how to do this as well.

Does the check engine light turn on while driving? I would check for codes just to be through. See the link in that common DIY thread I referenced before.

When were these maintenance items last changed? distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plugs (use NGK plugs recommended in owners manual), and air filter.

Default 94 Accord Stick w/ jerking

What was it? My '94 (manual tranny) is doing the something similar. Or was, I should say. I left it on the side of the interstate to be towed to a garage. This past weekend I hit a small piece of retread from a semi and shortly afterward felt a jerking sensation in 2nd gear. I took it to the garage yesterday and they test drove it, checked the axles, and looked for damage. Looked fine, and drove fine at the time.... I was on the interstate today in 5th gear doing 70mph and the jerking set in. It didn't feel like the engine was missing, it felt like I was stabbing the brake pedal. So I pulled over, said eff it and rang the Honda shop to call me a tow truck and hitched a ride home.
I just had a ton of work done on it. New rear brakes (!!), timing belt, radiator, fan, and got platinum sparks. I'm a single mom and haven't got time to be without a car or cash to be paying tons of repair bills.
Maybe my antique automobile prefers the dirty old coppers to the new platinums? Ah well.. I will post my results once I have them. I wish other people would have said what the issue was after asking the question.. I've seen plenty of questions about the jerking of Honda Accords, and plenty of suggestions but no one ever posts their results. Maybe I won't bother either. I intend to, but I'm just saying.. it's annoying. One guy said it turned out to be his ignition switch - but I haven't seen anyone else say what their troubles were.

Stacy, you may want to start a new thread giving as much info as possible like:
  • 5th gear, 70mph, car is jerking
  • Doesn't feel like an engine miss, it felt like I was stabbing the brake pedal
  • I drove about N miles before it started; the temp gauge was at ...
  • The tachometer showed around NNNN rpm
It's also helpful if you put your car info in your signature (i.e., '94 EX sedan 5 speed) so readers don't have to guess or keep going back to your first post.
