Make sure battery is fully charged and connection is good at the battery and also starter/solenoid.

If those check out fine, take the starter off and bring it to have it tested at a shop that specializes in them.

The battery and connection is fine...was able to roll down windows...I will have to look at some pics to verify where to look for the starter solenoid...I know for sure it is not the battery...it is less than 2 months old and the alternator is the same

Give the starter a tap with a hammer or, if access is tight, put a broom handle or dowel on the starter and tap the broom handle/dowel. Don't go crazy with the hammer. You could even use the handle of the hammer. You just want to jar the starter a bit. Sometimes, the starter can get a bad spot and you just need a little tap to move it off the bad spot. You could even try to do it while someone is turning the key. Just be careful under the hood when things are turning over.

figured it out...wires i have going to trunk for battery relocate just are not gettin the job done...first checked starter, then put new one in, then old one back in, then disco'd the battery and moved it back to engine bay and bammm car started no problems...so if you guys are looking at doing a battery relocate, make sure you have a big enough gauge wire to handle the distance for power to needed parts.

Glad you got this figured out as well. Clicking normally makes me think bad starter as well.
