Default 96 ACCORD 153000 m i2dr BRAKELINES LEAKING

My shop is telling me at least 10hrs labor to replace the brake lines which are routed above the gas tank. They say it's a can of worms because it could take even longer, and they don't know what will be found when the gas tank is dropped, it could be rusty and need replacement. $1000.00 to do best case scenario. More if tank needed.

Those that sound right to you guys?

Not only that, but if the brake lines are leaking then the 3 fuel lines are right next in line to start leaking. All 5 lines are together in the same "tray".

A couple of years ago, I had my local shop replace the rear brake lines, they charged $250 for both.
It could have been a bit neater, as the connection to the frame mount on the driver side had some "Slack" I am sure someone could have done a better job. But there has not been any more problems. Brake or Fuel.

I do smell gasoline in the car, but I thought it just needed a new filler tube. It's a nightmare come true. Now they say needs rear brakes and calipers also. I suppose I should consider the car has the factory clutch. Another thing that comes to mind is the counter balance and timing belt have 90000m on them since last done.

$3000 or so and I've got myself a car again. Somethings wrong with that picture.
