96 accord ex cruise control

Default 96 accord ex cruise control

my 96 accord cruise control
doesnt work the button on the
dash lights up but when i try to
use it it just doesnt work dverything
else works on car except cruise control
does anyone know why?

Grab up your handy dandy multi-meter; Here is the test chart.
I'm betting cable reel is the fault. TESTS # 3&4

no idea where that parts located its my
first car so if you can please be more specific
on what i need to do please.

I attached a pic of the location. The connector in HondaDude's picture going into the cruise control unit in my pic.

The cable-reel is the electrical connection between the steering column and the spinning steering wheel. It allows the wheel to turn while maintaining the circuits to all the buttons.
