ok i have a 96 accord ex. put a new on and belt. and is timed correctly new distributor and injectors. but car will only run on 2/4 and will not run long enuf for my scanner to pick up anything. any help would be awesome. im new to this whole honda thing thanks

 

Is the check engine light on? It doesn't have to be running to run the codes.

 

No light and I went in and checked everything I could think of. This is my little brothers car. I am a gm master tech so if this we're a gm I could fix it I've toSsed clos to a g in this car in new parts

How are you verifying that you are only running on cylinders 2 and 4?
