Default 96 Accord Exaust issues. any tips?

Hey Guy's well I have a leak that sounds like its coming from in front of the catconverter? It's tough to tell exactly where it's coming from withought actually rolling under there and checking. I have already done the muffler so that part is ok. I looked on line and found that there are bunch of gaskets and hardware. Do the gaskets tend go? The car is an Lx 2.2 sedan. Any help would be great on we're to start.its looking like this could get expensive!!

Corrosion pitting thru-wall is usual problem. No way to know except put on jack stands and take a peek.

good luck

Yea I figured just like any automobile exhaust. What kills me is all the darn seals and gaskets along the way. I guess I will cut the whole thing off at the downpipe and examine it thourowly. More than likely I will end up doing the whole darn thing sans converter,I hope.......Should have mentioned just how bad the the road treatments are here in Ct.......
Then again why bother....

Thanks

Well the flange on the resonator pipe rotted off of the Cat. I went to the local Advance Auto and they wanted 189.00 for the pipe. After examining it and finding it to be fairly decent as far as rust goes I decided to cut the bolts off with the die grinder and drop the flang. Then I cut the resonator about a foot downstream I welded the flange back on the pipe and picked up a coupling and two clamps. Done.... Instead of 189.00 it cost me 21.00 and and some time....
