Yeah, if the striker was positioned incorrectly, that's the first thing to do. I didn't really mean door hinges. But I was also guessing that maybe the door switch-button was either coming loose from corrosion or maybe bent or ????
I don't think there's really an ADJUSTMENT on that switch-button but if it's loose you can check it's fasteners.
I just meant if you need to adjust the striker to make the door so it does NOT line up, just to get the lights to work, then look at the switch.

Well I tested the contacts and found no power, then I pulled the door panel off and it was appearent. The light was not plugged in. I saw that there were aftermarket speakers in the car so Im sure they just forgot to plug it back in after installing the speakers. Works just fine and was to simple to fix =)
